Product Features
A blend of herbs that removes waste products from the liver, gallbladder, and intestinal tract.
The statements made herein have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
Nettle root, leaves & stem (Urtica dioica):
Adaptogen, alterative, anti-tumor, anti-spasmodic, astringent, counterirritant (mucous membranes), diuretic, emmenagogue, expectorant, galactagogue, hemostatic, hypotensive, nutritive, trophorestorative (kidney/adrenal), vermifuge
Buckthorn Bark (Rhamnus carolinianus):
One of its medicinal compounds is the anthraquinone, which gently stimulates the bowel muscles to push waste out of the body. Anthraquinones have antioxidant and anti-cancer properties.
Poke Root (Phytolacca americana):
The plant contains a protein called “pokeweed antiviral protein,” or PAP for short that may have anti-tumor effects. It is currently being studied for its anti-cancer properties, and some studies have shown that certain formulations of PAP may be useful against some types of cancer cells that depend on hormones to grow such as breast, ovarian, and prostate cancer.
Burdock root (Arctium lappa):
The chemicals that give burdock its bitter taste, also stimulate bile production and digestive juices in the gut, which helps the liver to rapidly process toxins and flush them from the system. Clearing toxins from the blood is one of the main purposes of the liver, and burdock’s organic compounds and components have been directly linked to improving this function.
Chinese Skullcap (Scutellaria baicalensis):
In alternative medicine, skullcap is sometimes recommended for the following: Inflammation Insomnia Hepatitis Epilepsy Atherosclerosis Cancer Anxiety, tension, and stress.
Red Clover (Trifolium pratense):
It’s widely used in traditional medicine as a remedy for menopause symptoms, asthma, whooping cough, arthritis, and even cancer.
Senna Leaf (Senna alexandrina):
Senna tea is an FDA-approved nonprescription laxative. Its top health benefits may include aiding weight loss, treating constipation, reducing inflammation, and detoxifying the body, among others.
Sarsaparilla Indian (Hemiesmus indincus):
There are six major therapeutic uses that have been tested and shown to be effective in Western medicine: anti-inflammatory, diuretic and vulnerary, prevention of miscarriages, improves fertility, and treats syphilis. There is also significant scientific evidence that the root can be used effectively as a treatment for arthritis, asthma, bronchitis, epileptic seizures, high blood pressure, immune disorders, and high stress (Arun et al. 2007)
Barberry Root (Berberis vulgaris):
Berberine acts on the smooth muscles that line the intestines, helping improve digestion and reduce gastrointestinal pain. Barberry is even an effective treatment for diarrhea, including both traveler’s diarrhea and diarrhea caused by food poisoning. A few studies have suggested that it improves gastrointestinal problems faster than antibiotics, most likely due to its astringent properties. Studies like the one published in the Journal of Infectious Diseases showed that berberine relieves bacterial diarrhea without any negative side effects.
