Sarsaparilla Jamaican (Smilax ornata): Sarsaparilla has been used to treat gout, gonorrhea, open wounds, arthritis, cough, fever, hypertension, pain, a lack of sexual desire, indigestion, and even certain forms of cancer. Vitex (Vitex agnus-castus): Vitex or Chaste tree berry, does act directly on the hypothalamus and pituitary glands. For women, it increases luteinizing hormone, modulates prolactin and aids in the inhibition of the release of follicle-stimulating hormone, which all helps balance out the ratio of progesterone to estrogen, slightly raising the levels of progesterone. Eleuthero demonstrates an ability to improve physical stamina and mental sharpness similar to caffeine but without an impending crash.
Nettle root, leaves & stem (Urtica dioica): Adaptogen, alterative, anti-tumor, anti-spasmodic, astringent, counterirritant (mucous membranes), diuretic, emmenagogue, expectorant, galactagogue, hemostatic, hypotensive, nutritive, trophorestorative (kidney/adrenal), vermifuge.
